About VleesRadar

VleesRadar is an independent price comparison site for meat from Dutch online butchers and specialists. Every day we automatically collect the current prices from dozens of webshops and convert them to one fair yardstick: the price per kilo. That way you see at a glance where a ribeye, picanha, spareribs or wagyu is cheapest — without opening ten browser tabs yourself.

Why we exist

Buying meat online is popular, but comparing prices is hard. One shop sells per piece, another per 300 grams or per kilo; packaging and quality grades vary enormously. As a result a 'cheap' package sometimes turns out expensive, and vice versa. VleesRadar removes that noise by converting everything to a price per kilo and showing how it develops over time. That way you know whether a deal is really a deal.

Independent and transparent

We are not tied to any single shop or brand. The ranking in our comparisons is determined by price per kilo, not by who pays us. Some 'To store' links are affiliate links: if you order through one, we sometimes receive a small commission from the shop. That costs you nothing extra and does not affect the prices shown or the ranking. These commissions and adverts help us cover the site's running costs so VleesRadar stays free.

Where our numbers come from

Our prices come straight from the webshops themselves and are refreshed every night. We measure, normalise and store the price history so you can spot trends. Want to know more about the method? Read how it works.
